Discussion - EVE / 812 vs 813 display differences?

I've been using the EVE 812 in a 5-inch display with resistive touch (NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-T) and the display is just fine. I switched to a similar model with capacitive touch (NHD-5.0-800480FT-CTXL-CTP) and can't get a display. I haven't been paying much attention to the touch aspects but it looks as if the display registers in the 813 are the same, and take the same values, as the 812. Am I wrong about that?
