Turning On the display

Hi,

Can u please guide me through the steps to turn on the display as am new to it .
It would be helpful if u can just tell me the steps so that I can follow.

In this guide, section 2 contains information on startup. Please take a look at section 2.4 in particular as it describes the initialization sequence during boot up.
